Dr. Ibrahim had his B.A. in Business Administration from Alexandria University, in 1980; his M.S. in Business Administration (Finance) from Alexandria University, in 1989; and his Ph.D. in Business Administration (Finance) from Southern Illinois University (USA) and Alexandria University (Joint), in 1998. From 1981 till present, he has been teaching many different undergraduate courses in Arabic and English such as: Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Investment, Advanced Investment, Security analysis and Valuation, International Finance, Financial Markets and Institutions, Principles of Management, Introduction to Business, Management Information Systems, and Quantitative Business Analysis. He has also been teaching graduate (M.Sc., MBA, and Ph.D.) courses in Arabic and English such as: Financial Management, Advanced Finance, Investment, Portfolio Management, Derivatives, and Risk Management, from 1998 till present. From 1983 till 1987, he participated in the study of “Performance evaluation of public sector companies in Egypt”, funded by IDRC, Canada; in 1999, he took part in the Market Anomalies in Stock Pricing, Conference of New Trends in Management. Cairo, Egypt; and from 1999 to 2001, he participated in the study of “competitive advantages in Egyptian companies”, funded by the Ministry of Scientific Research.
