International Education Week (IEW) 2023

Nile University (NU) proudly participated in the International Education Week (IEW) 2023, an initiative that celebrates the benefits of international education and global exchange in higher education. Alongside partners from Tunisia, Morocco, South Africa, and Nigeria, NU showcased its successful partnerships and highlighted the innovative joint projects that foster cross-cultural understanding and prepare students for a globalized world.

Rawda Ali, Assistant Professor of Practice at NUBS, presented last semester’s virtual exchange project with the GSU- J. Mack Robinson College of Business. The project involved analyzing 18 emerging or frontier economies in Africa using the PESTEL analysis tool. Dr. Ali emphasized how such projects enable students to gain a deeper understanding of the interdependence and interconnections within global systems. In addition, Maryam Borg, a NUBS senior student majoring in Marketing, shared her insights and experiences from participating in the virtual exchange project. She reflected on the impact of the project highlighting the valuable lessons she learned about working in multicultural teams and navigating the complexities of global business. Nile University's participation in IEW 2023 underscores its commitment to internationalization and its dedication to preparing students for success in an increasingly interconnected world.
