TLC is Hiring Junior Teaching Assistants

The Learning Center at NU Business School Administration is currently recruiting Junior Teaching Assistants for Fall 2022. JTAs are responsible for supporting students to help them accomplish learning benchmarks and keep all students engaged in the lecture; they also provide individual support and feedback for all students.

 

Responsibilities:

  1.  Assist the TLC in private tutoring sessions.
  2.  Assist Teaching Assistants with class activities.

 

Requirements:

  1. Minimum GPA is 3.7
  2. Senior or Junior students (seniors are preferred)
  3. A- minimum in the preferred subject

 

*Accepted candidates must agree to follow the below rules:

  • All candidates will be interviewed.
  •  JTAs do not teach, they assist TAs.
  • JTAs may not assist in either the same course they are registered in, or with the same instructor of that course.
  • JTAs will not have any conflicts of interest with any of their classmates or friends.
  • JTAs will not disclose or edit grades for their friends or colleagues.
  • They will maintain high integrity and professionalism during their assignment.
  • JTAs are required to assist in TLC tutoring sessions.
