Prof. Hassan Aly Dean of Business School and Professor
Dr. Hassan Aly is an Emeritus Professor of Economics at the Ohio State University; before joining Nile University as Dean of the Business School in May 2017, he served as the Founding Dean of the School of Public Administration and Development Economics, and Professor of Economics at the Doha Institute (DI) for Graduate Studies.
Professor Aly served in many positions including Faculty Associate at the Middle East Studies Center, and the John Glenn Institute for Public Service and Public Policy both at Ohio State University; he also served as President of the Middle East Economics Association. He is a lifetime research fellow at the Economic Research Forum. Currently, Professor Aly serves as a consultant for the IMF, and the USAID in the Middle East. He authored over fifty articles published in international professional journals and has a lifetime citations count that exceeds 2000.
